Reports
We will provide monthly or quarterly reporting, depending on the needs of the Owner. We generate a variety of standard or specialized reports that can be included in the reporting package.
  • Annual Budget
  • Monthly Operating Report
  • General Ledger
  • Rent Roll
  • Aged Receivables
  • Accounts Payable

Also provided are reports that represent an integral part of our operations, planning and reporting procedures:

  • Five-Year Major Expenditures
  • Variance Report – Usually prepared quarterly, this report is used in conjunction with the Annual Budget and the Monthly Operating Report to reflect changes in operations revenues and expenses as compared to the original budget.

Expertise
Hines Management Services provides a host of experienced accounting professionals who will be assigned to and be intimately familiar with the Owner’s property. These include the following:

  • Vice President - Finance
  • Senior Controller
  • Project Accountant
  • Bookkeeper

All of these individuals, including the on-site staff, will be involved in monthly and quarterly reporting, including annual budgets and variance reports.

Technology Support
Hines also deploys an Information Technology department to support the accounting function. If problems arise, our on-site management team can pick up the phone and receive assistance in diagnosing and correcting the situation quickly, so production time is maintained to the fullest.

Our technology has now advanced to the point that a majority of diagnoses can be performed remotely, thus ensuring rapid response to our clients.
